Weekend Away

This last weekend I got brave and left my kids for two nights. I hate leaving my kids. I think it might be a control thing. My mom-in-law was nice enough to take the kids. I worried the whole week working up to leaving and had almost convinced myself to back out. Luckily my hubby and mom-in-law kept me strong and we left Friday morning. We went with our friends Jason and Becky who are so fun and easy to be with. We golfed(actually the boys did and we watched), we ate (way too much), we hiked(not nearly enough, I want to go back), shopped, played games (I'm not sure I will ever play Monopoly again), laughed and enjoyed time away. It was fun to not worry about the kids and spend time with Cory. We have tons of fun together. Hopefully Jason and Becky still consider us "friends" and will go again with us. Maybe next time we'll let Jason win at something!

I was hesitant and excited to see my kids. They usually don't want me back because I haven't been gone "long enough" but they were very kind and at least acted happy to see me. Grandma did an awesome job keeping them and Laura needs to do Grace's hair every Sunday. Grandpa tried real hard to make sure I never left them again(just kidding- I'm fine with Jaden climbing a rock wall the height of a two story house). Now the problem is that I am not sure I want to be back to laundry, dishes, cooking, etc. To break me in, Lane was nice enough to fill his high chair, shirt, socks and pants with poo!

The FBI,Homeland Security, and the Moab City police and prosecuting attorney have contacted me and requested my assistance in prosecuting a case in behalf of Mr. B. Darrow, in what they are calling the case of a century. They have dubbed the case "Enronopoly", for the similar unethical practices that were used on a board game to take advantage of the victim for mere greed. They are also looking into something about an "Independent Contractor", who had a supporting role. After, reviewing the rules of Monopoly, I am afraid the proclaimed winner must be stripped of his victory due to the overwhelming evidence and will be presumed guilty until proven otherwise. I am certain Mr. Darrow and Mr. Parker Brother were rolling over in their graves over this one. The prosecuting attorney has suggested a plea agreement consisting of financial restitution to the victim and a rematch, without the enron-AIG tactics. In an attempt, to help you put this water under the bridge, I agree to the rematch upon discussing and agreeing on a few rules of ethics. Happy Trails!
