So much fun

This last week was full of fun. Last Thursday I decided my boys needed haircuts. Jaden needs a hair cut every two weeks or so and I would attempt it(don't gasp Hillary, I'm not going to) but Jaden has a million weird cowlicks. Lane also has been blessed with a head of hair but I've avoided cutting it. I hate him growing up but I decided it was time (his hair was past his ears). He was such a good kid and Hillary is awesome. Anyway, here are the before, during, and after.

Since the last dose of medicine kicked in he has learned to clap, wave, sign "milk", "all done", and "more". He also says "ba ba" which I think means bye, bye since he says it while waving. He is also finally walking with the help of his toy.

I also went to Bear Lake this last weekend to spend time and help my mom. She is helping with a shower for Mandy Douglas this weekend and wanted some help getting stuff ready. My mom is so funny and worries so much if people will like what she does. She and my sis-in-law Crysti made these cute invitations.

So cute and I love the Lil' Buckaroo theme for Mandy. We made some other cute things but I'll have to wait until after the shower to show them. I also am slow on something I wanted to make for Mandy so it might be an after-the-baby is here gift. Take some pics for me Mandy. Dad also took Jaden fishing which made his whole day. I'm so lucky to have such great parents!

On Sunday I drove to Logan to be with Cory's family(minus Cory) and went to the Draper Temple Dedication. Monday was ski day with the kids at The Beav!!! It is always fun to go there and brings back so many memories. Last year Jaden got to do lessons but I couldn't ski(pregnancy). This year Grandma Linda gave the kids a lesson for their Christmas gift. The kids loved them. Thanks so much Linda and Paul. Grandpa Paul kept Lane warm in the lodge so we could do it. Jade did lessons again with his cousin and Grace did lessons with her cousin, grandma, and me. It was an adventure. Grace is really shy (especially with men) and her instructer was at least 7 feet tall. It took her a while to warm up but I am so impressed with how good she is. She and Jaden are naturals and I think they are already better than me. Uncle Pat better get home soon to take them.

Look at my two skiers!!

You are so cute and your kids are darling. I'm impressed that you dared cut hair...I draw the line at that :) Grace is your mini-me, I love the pic of her sitting in the snow. We'll have to forget a mom ski day and instead drag the kids one day!

I'm glad you had a chance to go home and help your mom. I love your mom, she is awesome. Give her a big hello for me!

Wow, that hair is great. You are correct about Jaden, he does have a million cowlicks. It's a trial but I'm glad you have me to do it.

You do more in one month than I do in a year. I swear.
