After a week of humidifiers, sleepless nights, and coughing...we are on the mend. Grace hasn't had her hair done for a week(any of you who know Grace, know that is serious). So today we have preschool at my house and Grace decided it was time to get dressed. For me that would mean jeans instead of sweats and a non-stained t-shirt. For Grace...well, you can see for yourself. As for Lane... he is in love with the little American Flag that I use for preschool(he is laying down but it looks like a sideways picture of him), he is very into the garbage(why do we buy toys) and pulling new faces! We were trying to get a still shot of his squint but the video will have to do. He also loves waving!

The happiest place on earth...home!

We survived! Not only did we survive but we had soooo much fun! I won't bore you with all the details but here are some highlights and not-so-hi-lights
Highlights:
1- Lane left for California with 3 teeth and came home with 5
2- Lane learned to wave
3- The look on Grace's face when we saw Cinderella at the princess breakfast made me tear up
4- Aurora taught Grace to dance
5- Jaden watched Star Wars for the first time, attended the Jedi training and got his own sword(i'm not up on the Star Wars lingo)
6- The kids loved the Mickey Mouse club house, Aladdin, & HSM 3 shows(grandpa even got to participate)
7- The Pixar parade was awesome and Jaden was super excited to meet Mater and Lightening McQueen
8- Grace loved the tea-cups
9- Jaden was so brave and went on about every ride(he didn't like pirates though)
10- The kids saw the ocean for the first time and loved it
11- there are so many memories with cousins, valentines, & the long drive and the weather was awesome
Not-so-hi-lights:
1- Lane's eyes were goobered shut the day we left and stayed that way for most the week- he was also on amoxicillan for double ear infections
2- Lane threw-up all over the condo and had diarreah for 3 days
3- we got Preston & Crysti's family sick
4- Grace started coughing really bad and would clear out entire lines
5- It rained on Friday so we didn't do the parade
6- Lane had to stay home a day and a half (thanks for your help mom)
7- Grace asked to take two naps-very unusual
8- Lane started coughing
Now that we are home I have Grace with pneumonia and Lane with double ear infections and an "RSV-ish cough"(that is what the dr said but what does it mean). We got home around 11 p.m. Sunday night and I had the kids to the doctor Monday morning by 10 for their diagnosis. Now we are just sleep deprived and trying to recover from all our fun. Grace has missed dance and preschool so far this week. The trip was perfect though. The kids were troopers and it was priceless to see their faces when they met the characters and went on the rides. The weather was jacket weather and we didn't get too hot or too cold. The lines weren't long and we got to do everything we wanted. It was so much fun to have Pres & Crysti and my mom and dad. There was an adult for every child and that made it very easy. This definately goes down in my book as one of the best vacations(now if only I can get my kids better!!)

M-I-C-K-E-Y-- M-O-U-S-E

We leave on Monday morning for Disneyland! Our kids are super excited and have been anticipating this since Christmas morning! But since Cory hasn't been since he was 18and I haven't been since I was 4, we are trying to make sure we do all the "must-do's". We pretty much have our plan which includes the 4 day park-hopper, princess breakfast, fireworks, Mickey's club house, Pixar parade, and 1 day in Sea World. We are staying across the street so we don't have to eat in the park and can come and go. So now I'm looking for any additional tricks or favorite rides that anyone else has experienced to make our first out-of-state family vacation successful! Let me know if any of you have suggestions!
