Today while fixing dinner Lane was standing in my freezer (its a side-by-side so you get the idea, he opens the door and stands up in it) looking for treats and singing to himself. I thought it was cute and was just about to go get the camera when I started hearing what he was singing. It sounded something like "poo poo" but since he is still in a diaper and not very clear in his pronouncing of words, I thought "oh great...gotta stop cooking to change him". I went to pick him up and what did I see...a smooshed pile of poo on the bottom of my freezer. SERIOUSLY!! I had just read a friends blog this morning about her kid taking off her diaper and smashing poo everywhere. I even laughed because my kids haven't done that. Back to my finding....I picked Lane up and went to figure out the cause. He was fully clothed with levi's, socks, shirt, and diaper. The diaper was even dry. Somehow, one of the top sticky things had undone and when he went #2 it made it out and down his pant legs into my used-to-be-clean freezer. After sterilizing my freezer and letting it air out and cringing at the thought again...I've decided that diaper malfunctions are way worse than wardrobe malfunctions....and I should never laugh at what other people's kids have done....mine will trump it! YUCK!

Oh. My. Heck. I think I would have cried!!! at least he...told you? and you didn't have to find it later........ UGH!
that is pretty bad! poop where the food goes! gross. One time when Marissa was like 10 months I went to get her from a nap and she was sucking on her blanket that was covered in poop! yum yum!
I'm not going to even say "my kids haven't ever done that," because I'm sure something disgusting will be waiting around the corner. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. I'd be calling the diaper company demanding my money back.
I feel your pain. We've had so many poo disasters ;(
Bonnie...Bonnie...Bonnie...Why oh why must our children be so much alike? At the baby sitter, Mason had one such indcident, except she was at one of the stake centers at an exercise class and Mason somehow managed to get it on his hands...kind of like, finger paint. Can I tell you I LOVE My BABYSITTER? Thanks for the laughs!!! We miss you!
Dry heaving a little over here. We had a massive diaper malfunction over here this week as well. 2 actually. One for Grant and one for Hallie. Mikkele is not allowed to change diapers any more. Apparently she doesn't think it's important to securely fasten the tabs. And then I'm the one to clean it up. Threw away Hallie's jammies that she pooped all inside of. Grant's wasn't as bad, clothes were salvaged. YUK!
