January

Today is one of those days when I gave up trying to get Lane to take a nap in his own bed and held him while reading a "crap" book as Cory would say. I also didn't fight my kids to put away their own laundry and did it for them. I put Lane's "choo choo" church sweater on because he wanted it and I don't know if I'm going to cook dinner. Does anyone else have these kind of days? I've been trying to lose the extra baby weight before my baby turns two and I have to say that I'm kinda grumpy about it. There is some degree of happiness that comes from eating something sweet when my children are gone for a few minutes. So I think this is just January. Nothing new, nothing exciting and nothing fun....so I'll post a few random pictures.

We took the kids skiing, to the World Cup and snowmobiling a few weekends ago. I don't have pics of anything except this one of the kids near the snowmobile.

Jaden got a new basketball hoop for Christmas. A few weeks after, Cory and he decided they would set it up. The night before, Jaden wanted to sleep by it. Cory decided to just set it in the hall by his bedroom door and this is how we found Jaden.

I am the proud new owner of a nebulizer(sp?). Not sure it was high on my list but Lane likes it and it seems to be helping.

And of course, Grace just wanted me to take a picture of her. I love how she poses...really, where does she come from?

we have the same nebulizer! We call it Dinosaur breathing and Spike hates it! Glad to see you have a sleeping baby for it :)

I agree completely. This is SUCH a January. Why do we think the most dreary time of year is the best time to be motivated to lose weight and eat better? Its backfiring in my house too...
Welcome to the nebulizer club! I know, I know, who thought this was exciting..?
:) Your kids made me smile tho. At least THEY are having fun!

Grace is a doll! and whats with the nebulizer? I think that "Crap" books are better than "crap" TV if that makes you feel better :) but I do love both! miss you guys!

Darn that baby weight. I've got a good 30 pounds of it to lose, and I'm not looking forward to it. Your kids are getting so big and are adorable. We should meet for a date night, because Heaven knows I need to get out!
