I heard on the news that a mother seeing her child smile is as much as a high as actually getting high. I know I am biased but my baby is soooo cute! He is happy as can be first thing in the morning and smiles and talks. He is getting so chubby and I think that is cute as well. He is also starting to discover his hands and I love it when he gets a fist full of Grace hair(sounds mean but you should see her get in his face and it kinda serves her right) Now I also must confess that I'm a horrible mom. The other night we went to Seven Peaks together. Jaden and Grace were so excited and they are right at the age where it is fun to go together because they need you but they can do all the things too. Anyway, I ended up spending the whole night sitting on the blanket with Lane(the water was too cold for him) while Cory and the kids had a blast. I was starting to wonder why we ever had Lane (don't gasp, I know it isn't a nice thought). Of course it was totally selfish and I was just feeling sorry for myself and the next morning when I got that adorable smile, I melted. We do love our little guy!!

You hit in right on the head! Aren't they amazing! You captured my thoughts perfectly...right down to the little selfish thing. Jake took Aleah and a friend to the movies last weekend and Mason was being uncooperative so I stayed home and pouted. Then, he started his cutsie faces...and all was well. He reminds me of Lane a bit...just those great Floyd genes coming through.
That is such a cute picture of sweet little Lane. You're kids sure are cute.
