Happy Birthday Little Bro!!!!

Today is my little brother's 20th birthday! On Mondays he usually gets to check e-mail and look at my blog so I thought I'd take this chance to brag him up a bit and tell him happy birthday! I have been thinking about him a lot lately and my kids have been missing him terribly so we've told quite a few stories about him. We also went to Bear Lake for the weekend and walked around town. I was telling my kids how much I had wished for a little sister but when he was a baby Erin and I would push Pat and AnDe everywhere in the strollers and play with them. I was always jealous of Erin for having a little sister but as much as I admire AnDe, I am so glad to have an uncle for my son to admire! Also, I was thinking of his baby nickname "pitter-pat". I was thinking about this because my baby was passing lots of gas yesterday and that was how Pat got his nickname! It wore of quick and it is a good thing he is far away or else I might get hurt for posting this! Through the years Patrick has been very special to me and I love him so much. He is a great brother, an awesome uncle, a good person and a wonderful servent right now. I am so proud of him. Keep up the good work Pat. We love you and miss you tons! Jaden and Grace said to tell you they love you!

I remember taking AnDe and Patrick for walks all the time too! It's funny to look at them now and know that we used to take care of them. Hope all is going well with you

You are lucky that Patrick isn't close to you with that story. It will be a great birthday present for him to read how proud you and your family are of him. Being a missionary has to be hard and I am so thankful for all of them that are out serving faithfully.
